Spot notes
Photographing surf in Guincho
Guincho has its own visual identity: dunes, mountain, wind and Atlantic lines. It is a demanding beach, excellent for aerial maneuvers and images with scale.
Conditions
Northwest swell and low-wind mornings create the cleanest windows. The wind often rises through the day.
Photo angle
The many beach accesses allow long compositions, backlight and frames with the Sintra mountains.
